Here at Penstripe, we’re big believers in staff recognition. If a member of our team does something great, we like to shout about it. That’s why we award our Penstripe Player of the Month – to reward staff members for going the extra mile. Once a month, each member of our team casts a vote to decide who will be this month’s winner; the person with the most votes is then awarded Player of the Month by our Directors.
June’s winner was… Bruce Harmer!
Bruce is one of our Customer Support Team Project Managers. Having worked at Penstripe for the past six years, he knows the company inside out. Bruce works directly with the client to assist them in creating artwork, then sees this job through to production.
Bruce won Penstripe Player of the Month for demonstrating outstanding customer service. This led to some excellent feedback from clients regarding our online planner customisation tool, myPenstripe, due to Bruce’s support in helping them through the artwork process. His helpful nature ensures that the client always comes first, and he shows real enthusiasm for managing a job from start to finish.
July’s winner was… Lucy Hickey!
After living in Western Australia, Auckland and New Zealand, Lucy joined Penstripe as a Project Manager in November 2014. New Zealand’s loss was most definitely our gain!
For Lucy, nothing’s ever a problem. And even if it is a problem, it’s always handled with a smile. She is able to guide customers in the most efficient way, and never complains about taking on extra tasks to ensure our clients receive the very best service. She’s had an outstanding first year at Penstripe, and we can’t wait to see how she grows with the business.
August’s winner was… Monica Dowding!
Monica doesn’t only complete her own tasks quickly and efficiently, she works alongside each department and helps out wherever she can (including the prep and transportation of pallets, some of which weighing 300kg!). Plus – her 3 o’clock cups of tea could win awards themselves.
She supports the Production Team in a variety of different ways, and always does so with a smile (even though she’s very camera shy!). Well done Monica.
We’ll be telling you all about our next three month’s winners in December – keep checking the blog for more details.
