DRB Ignite 2015 conference: Building Futures

On Wednesday morning, we’ll be making the journey from Leeds to Birmingham, to exhibit at the DRB Ignite 2015 conference at the NEC. The event spans the 16th and 17th September, and brings together a number of high-profile educational ambassadors, head teachers, governors and leaders.

The theme for this year’s conference is ‘Building Futures: leading today for tomorrow’s world’. It aims to highlight how effective leadership can mould and transform the educational career, deep thought and understanding given to how educational challenges can be met by recognising the need for tailored, considered development for children.

Speakers include Dame Dana Ross-Wawrzynski, Chair of The Head Teachers Standard Review, Geoffrey Canada, Head of the Harlem Children’s Zone, one of Time magazine’s ‘Top 100 Most Influential People in the World’ and one of Fortune Magazine’s ‘World’s 50 Greatest Leaders’, and Russell Hobby, the General Secretary of the National Association of Headteachers (NAHT), along with many other industry leaders.

We always look forward to these kinds of events – we get to meet lots of new people and introduce them to the Penstripe brand, as well as being able to learn important industry knowledge from some of the world’s most influential ambassadors of education.

We’ll be showcasing our full product range – as well as showing everyone who visits our exhibition stand a demo of our brand new product – make sure to come and find us at stand 10 in The Marketplace!

We’ll be live-tweeting from the conference on both days. Make sure to follow and tweet us @Penstripe_ using the hashtag #drbignite15
